Future Plans
Where We Are Today
The responsibilities of the four-member management team are now clearly separated. Megyó is responsible for managing the company’s financial resources, major investments, and maintaining social relations. Balázs oversees process management and its IT background, including the ERP system. Imi is responsible for operating the Industrial Park, energy efficiency projects, equipment investments, and managing electronics manufacturing. Peti is in charge of daily operations, strategy, HR, and the management of commercial activities.
Over the past decade, the industry has increasingly moved towards miniaturization, and in PCB development the increase of surface-mount technology has become a primary focus. The goal was clear: to establish a reliable, stable manufacturing process that minimizes rework. The investments implemented since then have not only increased efficiency but also enabled partial replacement of manual labor. Growing customer demands brought further developments: production preparation, quality control processes, further automation of the THT stage, and modernization of the logistics system.
This conscious technological development program clearly shapes ElektroMont’s future and has laid a solid foundation for continued growth.
Site Expansion and Reorganization
To achieve the development goals the territorial reorganization began in 2022, resulting in each manufacturing subprocess being placed in its own separate section of the hall, well-separated from each other, following the product route transparently.
The company significantly expanded its electronic raw material warehouse and also created a new pallet warehouse within the building, bringing total storage capacity to more than 1,000 m². THT manufacturing and mechanical assembly moved into a new, much larger shared hall.
The current production area is 3,500 m², where comprehensive electronics manufacturing and assembly take place.
At the same time, new efficiency-enhancing investments were launched: logistics equipment and a new wave soldering machine were acquired. The development of the machine park is currently in progress: new selective soldering machines and soon an X-ray device will also support the company in reaching its targets.
Today, it can be said that ElektroMont has a stable foundation in terms of technology and infrastructure, which enables it to meet growing market demands and to maximize customer satisfaction.
Short-term Goals: Preparation for the Industry 5.0 Era
Although the necessary technological background is already available, the company is preparing for continuous development, as market expectations are constantly growing, and technological development is accelerating.
After Industry 4.0, with the rise of artificial intelligence, Industry 5.0 is increasingly coming to the forefront, focusing on human-centricity, sustainability, and flexibility. ElektroMont’s short-term goal is to prepare the organization for future challenges.
Accordingly, the company has launched a comprehensive organizational review and process revision, which also includes the further development of its ERP system.
In the short term, a key goal is the renovation of the entire industrial park and increaseing energy efficiency, with major energy-related investments planned: the installation of a modern heat pump heating system, building insulation, and solar energy integration.
Infrastructure expansion also extends to the modernization of office and social spaces, as the workforce has now reached 100 employees. Providing a work environment that meets 21st-century expectations simultaneously strengthens employee security, customer confidence, and the company’s market perception.
Long-term Goals: Stability and Sustainability, Regional Key Role
ElektroMont’s leaders are confident that electronics will be indispensable in the spread of digitalization. Although the international economic environment is currently facing many challenges, the revival of European car manufacturing may indirectly have a positive impact on the company’s operations.
ElektroMont’s vision is to continue building as a multi-generational company following the Western European model. It aims to be a defining player not only in the economic life of Pásztó but also at the sub-regional and county level.
The long-term goal is a stable, sustainably operating organization that ensures continuous growth with a diversified customer base and optimal capacity utilization. This can only be achieved through efficient operations and continuous development and improvement, both in technology and within the organization.
In addition, the company strives to preserve the values originating from its family business nature – reliability and community-centeredness – which will continue to be the basis for development in the future.
The goal is for ElektroMont to be the number one employer for local professionals: offering competitive salaries, a modern work environment, a family-like atmosphere, and participation in exciting projects.
This does not require a radical transformation of everyday life. The goal is not to change the core activity but to undertake tasks of higher complexity and higher added value that will strengthen the company’s market position in the long run.
Market Trends and Strategic Thinking
For ElektroMont, it is essential to continuously follow Hungarian, European, and global economic trends. When analyzing Europe’s economic situation, the role of the automotive industry is unavoidable. Although this does not belong to the company’s primary target areas, through its indirect impacts, it has significant influence on the economic performance of the entire continent.
The continuous analysis of the industries of strategic target areas is essential: it is important to understand in which direction the markets of key customers are heading and what opportunities they have. Without conscious analysis, the company could only react to changes. However, ElektroMont strives to shape the course of events within its possibilities and proactively contribute to the growth of its customers and itself.
Sustainability in Multiple Dimensions
Sustainability has long been a key focus for ElektroMont. While public discourse and the media often approach the topic mainly from an environmental perspective, the company believes that sustainability should be examined from both environmental and economic aspects.
In terms of environmental sustainability, the company aims to follow industry-leading practices:
- complies with RoHS and REACH regulations,
- uses multi-use or recycled packaging solutions,
- strives for the best results in waste management,
- continuously reduces energy consumption and ecological footprint – including the electric vehicle fleet and modernized production equipment,
- short-term goal is to increase the use of renewable energy sources, especially solar and heat pump systems,
- aims to increase green spaces in the industrial park environment.
ElektroMont also considers it important to strengthen the environmental awareness of its employees, and plans to support this with internal campaigns and educational programs. In addition, alignment with ISO and ESG standards will play an increasingly important role in the future.
Social Responsibility – Responsible for the Community
Just like sustainability, social responsibility is also closely linked to ElektroMont’s ambition to be a defining player in the region. The company believes that every responsible employer – to the extent of their possibilities – has a duty to contribute to the development of their environment and actively seek opportunities to support the growth of their community.
Social responsibility has always been present in ElektroMont’s life: it previously tried to support various organizations and initiatives. With the company’s development, support opportunities have also expanded, and since all activities are focused on Pásztó, attention is increasingly directed to the local community. Sports teams, schools, and cultural events have all received the company’s support. The goal has always been the same: to create real value for those who form its environment.
And this is just the beginning. Among ElektroMont’s long-term plans is to become an organic and active part of the social life of Pásztó and the region, parallel to its economic presence – strengthening the community of which it is itself a part.
